Help
How BitRegalo works, in plain words. You need no blockchain knowledge: your wallet signs each step, and the record is public.
Two ways to use BitRegalo
The open network for everyone, and workspaces for organisations. Both run on the same public contracts.
The BitRegalo network
For anyone, anywhere
Send a payment or a gift, hold a payment in escrow for someone, ask for things and offer them in a marketplace browsed by country. People pay each other in USDT (tUSD on the practice network). It runs on BitRegalo's own public contracts, and it is where the app opens.
A workspace
For an organisation
An organisation's own copy of the infrastructure: its own contracts, rules and fees, the currencies it accepts (a local stablecoin, for example), its own tokens, shop and treasury, run by its admin. Everything done inside a workspace is recorded under that workspace, apart from the network.
The place switcher at the top of the app shows where you are. Anything you start on the network is recorded on the network; anything you start inside a workspace is recorded under that workspace. See the workspaces.
The building blocks
The same on the network and in every workspace.
- Send a payment
- Pay someone straight away, with a reference and a receipt, or send a gift. To be paid, make a payment link or QR code under Get paid.
- Escrow
- A payment held by a contract until the work is done. The buyer can only release it, the supplier can only hand it back, and after the deadline it can only return to the buyer. Start one with Hold a payment for someone.
- Requests
- “I need this.” Post what you need; suppliers answer with offers (a price and a time). You choose one and settle by escrow, by direct payment, or just record the choice.
- Listings
- “I offer this.” A fixed price and delivery time, open to anyone or to one named buyer. When a buyer takes it, it settles the way you chose.
- Marketplace by country
- Requests and listings with a title, description, category and country, so people can find work and suppliers near them. The words are signed by the poster's wallet; amounts and state stay on the public record.
How a request works
Four steps, the same every time.
Ask
Post what you need: a job, supplies, a service. It gets a public record with a date.
Get offers
Suppliers answer with their price and how long they need. Every offer is on the record too.
Choose
You pick the offer you want. Nobody can change it afterwards, not even BitRegalo.
Pay your way
Just record it, pay straight away, or hold the payment safely until the work is done.
Three ways to settle
Chosen for each request or listing.
Just record it
No payment
The request, the offers and your choice are written down for good. Useful when payment happens elsewhere, or when the proof is what matters: tenders, grants, approvals.
Pay straight away
Direct payment
The moment you choose an offer, the supplier is paid from your wallet. Simple, for work you trust or goods already delivered.
Hold it safely
Escrow
When you choose, the payment leaves your wallet and is locked in a vault contract. You release it when the work is done. The supplier can hand it back if they can't deliver. After the deadline it can only go back to you, and anyone can trigger that.
Before you start
- You need a wallet
- A wallet such as MetaMask is how you sign in and approve each step. BitRegalo never holds your keys or your funds.
- This is a practice network
- Everything runs on BNB Smart Chain Testnet. Its tokens have no value, and the faucet gives 1,000 tUSD a day so you can try every step.
- Nothing happens until you sign
- Every guided task ends with a review. If a step fails, what came before it is already done, and signing again continues from there.
- Everything is on the record
- Requests, offers, choices and payments are written to a public blockchain. Private wording keeps the text private, not the amounts.
